New Look, Same Great Taste

Well, here we are again, giving the studio another makeover in hopes of landing on something I can (finally) be happy with.

BEHOLD! The new look of Jonathon Kimbrell Fine Art. Loving the combination of the bold and narrow typefaces against the field of black, encased in three thin circular lines. The rhyming words of 'K' and 'A' aren't too shabby, either. Simple, sleek, eye-catching.

As I struggle to gain some creative momentum again (after scrapping the bottom of the barrel, creatively speaking) perhaps the re-branding and re-design of my studio's namesake will further help clear out the creative cobwebs?

I can see this logo as a neon sign on a wall or on the side of a building. Maybe moving myself into the possibility of establishing my very own art gallery is not as unrealistic as I have once thought? Whatever the case may be, I think this new emblem of my creative dojo may help to further narrow my focus on something big (again). Lord knows my vision has been completely scattered for years, and that is not a good way to work, I'm afraid.

Anyhow, it's time to finally make some new business cards and get myself out there again. I've let so much of branding and promotion fall by the wayside for so many years, it's time to take charge and get back in the game, as they say. I think I'm still pretty good at the branding part of the business. It's like riding a bike, right?
