Introducing Seri.Tone Press.

Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you: Seri.Tone Press.

Formerly known as 'Napkin Art Studio,' it was time to rebrand and give the studio entity a more grown-up moniker. Actually, Seri.Tone Press has been around for a few years, now, I just haven't had a lot of time to produce or promote the studio. I'm trying to consolidate most of my creative endeavors under a single umbrella, so I let the SP website lapse to fold under into this website. Let's face it, I'm too old and disinterested in maintaining multiple websites and social media pages. As I often say, I can either make the art or promote the art. I can't do both equally. So, something had to give.

So, what can you expect from SP in the coming months? Well, I have a ton of projects that were shoved on the backburner a few years ago that are ready to be revisited. Namely, more art prints, sticker designs, hand made books and zines, and other interesting merch are in the queue. I don't know if there will be much in the way of gig posters moving forward, as I now prefer to work on my own projects vs. commissioned ones. There may be a pop-up event or two sometime down the road, but it's too early to tell. I doubt there will be any fine art events on the horizon. If you read my previous post, I've declared myself a bit semi-retired from participating in the fine art gallery world. Unless, two things happen. 1) I have my own space in which to create/promote/sell. Or 2) a gallery is willing to give me a crap-ton of $$$ upfront to create. Otherwise, searching and submitting portfolios to galleries is the equivalent of looking for a job. I already have one of those, thank you very much.

I'm looking forward to the end of 2024, as this has been a strange year (as I'm sure it has been for everyone.) As usual, a new year ushers in feelings of renewed energy, hope, promises, and goals. I'm hoping those feelings aren't immediately dashed the first few weeks in the the new year. However, for me, I'm anxious to make the fresh start into something promising, regardless of the ensuing chaos that, I'm sure, is to come. I've been burned out long enough these last few years, I'm ready to get to work.

In the meantime, you guys and gals have a wonderful holiday season; be healthy, take care of yourself and each other, and I'll see you on the other side of this thing.
