Introducing "Vend Gallery"

A few years ago at one of my art openings I introduced my 'vend-a-print' machine, a novel way to dispense original art, mostly mini screen prints on paper. It was a hit at the opening as well as at a few other pop-up events.
Fast-forward a few years, I've decided to rebrand this gizmo into "Vend Gallery." The concept is the same; dispensing original mini works of art via a sticker vending machine, but I have the joy of offering letterpress prints, experimental art, collage, actual stickers, and photography, too. (I'm just now getting back into taking pictures and have plans to do more photography this year.)
I've always felt and believed art should be easily accessible and affordable for everyone, just not the wealthy elite. Art is a human experience, not just a commodity. I'll be the first to admit, I've been fortunate to make a living from my creative endeavors these last couple of decades, and I'm excited to make more of my original art available to the public for a steal (only $1!). I haven't worked with a traditional art gallery in several years, and I've thought at length about having my own gallery to feature and sell my own work. I can't think of a better way to do that than with Vend Gallery.
So far, it's just the one machine, as it takes a good bit of time and effort to stock it with art. However, I do plan to have a couple more machines in the mix for multiple locations and events. Who knows, this may turn into something bigger than I initially imagined.
A few people have reached out about some 'virtual vend' opportunities, since not everyone has access to the machine locally. If you would like to patronize me with a virtual vend experience, just shoot me a message for details and I'll be happy to accommodate.
I'm looking at the calendar for 2025 to see if/when I can roll out Vend Gallery to the public. Keep your eyes peeled to this space (or my IG feed) for news.
