New Ponderosa

Howdy friends.
I hope you are all doing well, as well as you can be. It's been a roller coaster of a year, hasn't it? I don't have much to report from the JK Creative dojo, but there has been a few developments. First and most importantly, I have a new studio and creative space. We moved moved out of the city and (somewhat) into the country, and it has been the best thing. I think the peace, calm, and quiet will do me a world of good, not just creatively, but mentally and emotionally, too. I will say this, though; burnout is a helluva thing. Truth be told, I've been dealing with creative burnout for longer than I care to admit, but it is a process that has to run its course before the creative well is replenished. I certainly I'm on the back end of this, but not 100% yet.
I haven't made as many collages (or art in general) in the last few months, either, i.e. burnout and getting settled into a new house/routine. Plus, the world is still reeling from Covid craziness, and things just aren't back to normal, yet. I think once they do, you'll see much more productivity out of the studio and events to participate in. I have an entire book of ideas and plans jotted down, things I'm hoping to implement soon.
Anyhoozle, don't let the bastards get you down. More news later when I have some, hahaha.
