Charley Patton Comin' Your Way for Record Store Day Black Friday 2024

The fine folks at ORG Music asked me to do the honors of creating the album packaging for their "Charley Patton Father of the Delta Blues: Selections Paramount Recordings" LP, releasing November 29, 2024 for Record Store Day Black Friday - only at participating independent record stores.

Now, when someone asks you to design a record cover for Charley Patton's music, you say 'YES'.

It's always a pleasure doing work for ORG Music, one of my favorite labels in the industry. Not only do they focus on great historical reissues, but they release a lot of great and interesting original material and 'lost' recordings from notable catalogs.

If you are a fan of Delta Blues, especially Charley Patton, don't sleep on this release. Limited to only 1400 copies, this one will go quickly. (I'm not so secretly hoping this one will be a popular enough release to warrant a second volume of Patton's Paramount recordings in the near future.)

There are some other projects I've been working on in 2024 that I can't share yet, but hopefully soon. I'll fill y'all in when the time comes.
