New Charley Patton LP for Record Store Day Black Friday 2025

Well, Record Store Day Black Friday is nearly upon us again, and I excited to share ORG Music's release of "Charley Patton - Father of the Delta Blues: Selections from Paramount Recordings, Vol.2". Limited to 1,500 copies world wide, this series continues featuring killer tracks from Patton's extensive Paramount discography. For continuity's sake, the cover art is basically the same as Vol.1 but in a slightly different color way. I hope we'll see a Vol. 3 (for the hat trick) in 2026.

As always, it's a treat to do work for the ORG Music team, especially when it comes to these historical reissues. I'm also happy to see another generation of music fans experience the raw punk ferocity of Patton's music, a discography that will never go out of print as long as there are music fans like us to keep it alive.
